Mobile Twinning: Have your cellphone ring when someone dials your campus extension

Mobile Twinning is a feature that allows teleworkers to use their cellular or home phones to answer calls made to your campus extension.
To use this feature, you must first add a number to your profile, and enable Mobile Twinning.

Log into the Mitel User Portal ( instructions)

Click on My Profile.
Find the tab labeled "Second Phone"
Enter your external phone number ( you must include a 9 and the area code) and check the Activate Twinning box

Now, when someone dials your campus extension, the number you provided will ring.
(note the incoming call on your cellphone will appear as coming from Rider University, not the original caller's number)

To disable this feature, simply return to this screen and un-check the box, and click Save
