To uninstall Adobe Flash Player, 

  1. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player from the Adobe website.
  2. Exit all browsers and other programs that use Flash.
  3. Run the uninstaller.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts for uninstalling Flash.
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Review the steps on Adobe's Flash Player Help page to verify that Flash has been successfully uninstalled.

To uninstall Adobe Flash Player,

  1. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player on the Adobe Website.
  2. By default, the installer will save to the Downloads folder in Finder.
  3. Double-click the uninstaller in the Downloads window to open the uninstaller.
  4. Double-click the uninstaller icon in the window to run the uninstaller.
  • If you see a message asking if you want to open the uninstaller file, click Open.
  1. Click Uninstall when the uninstaller starts.
  2. Close any browser windows you have open. 
  3. Click on the browser name to close the browser. Alternatively, you can also close each browser manually. Once you have closed all browsers, click Retry. The uninstaller will continue working until the uninstallation is complete.
  4. Click Done when the message indicating that the uninstallation has succeeded appears.
  5. Restart your browser.
  6. To verify that you uninstalled Flash Player, review Adobe's Flash Player Help page.
