Apple Watch with nowires

The Apple Watch can take advantage of the wireless network and operate away from the iPhone when not in Bluetooth range.

The watch copies known networks from the phone, but it needs to be registered as an offline device in nowires.

* Obtain the Apple Watch MAC address
1- Launch the Watch app from the iPhone
2- Select General
3- Select About

* Register the MAC address as an offline device
1- Go to https://nowires.rider.edu
2- Add the MAC address as an offline device

* Go to the Commuter parking lot preferably the one behind the Visitor's lot (by the small shack)

* Forget nowires network
1- On iPhone, launch Settings
2- Select Wi-Fi
3- Click on the "i" to the right of nowires
4- Select "Forget This Network"

* Join nowires
1- On iPhone, launch Settings
2- Select Wi-Fi
3- Select nowires

The parking lot Access Point only works in the 2.4ghz network. The iPhone will then learn the new network and since it is a 2.4 network, Watch will learn it too.
To test, disable Bluetooth. from iPhone Settings. The watch should then switch to WiFi.
